Able Community Care has provided Live-In Care in Newquay since the 1980s. 

Our clients — older people and adults with disabilities — want to remain comfortably and happily in their own homes rather than face the upheaval of moving away from familiar surroundings into a residential care setting.

Hourly care is often not appropriate for people with high dependency needs who require support continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Hourly support often has to be offered at times that are not appropriate for the client but only for the care provider and their care workers.

From the vibrant coastal town of Newquay with its famous beaches and surf scene, to the nearby villages of Crantock, Mawgan Porth, Holywell Bay and the stunning North Cornwall coastline, we deliver continuous 24-hour support tailored to each individual’s needs.

Our live-in carers in Newquay provide support for domestic tasks, personal care needs, companionship, and, by living in, an added element of safety. We aim to provide each client with a fortnightly, rotational system of carers, so they feel happy to have someone consistent in their own home.

All our Carers have a minimum of one year’s experience in the care field and are interviewed face-to-face or via Zoom.

With references obtained and verified as genuine by Able Community Care.

Mandatory training is updated annually.

They have also undergone enhanced police checks, which are updated every three years.
