Wanting to remain as independent as possible, Oscar needed care support. He required a care service which would enable him to continue living in his own home and within his community of friends, local shops and amenities. A fall in 2017 had shaken Oscar’s confidence and not wanting different care workers coming into his home daily, restricting his freedom, Oscar and his family decided to try a continuous home Care Service from Able Community Care. His Live-in Home Care Workers, in addition to providing personal care support, would also carry out domestic tasks and enable Oscar to have a social activity of his choice. Other care professionals support Oscar, such as his London Physiotherapist and his Able Community Care Workers can ensure his exercises are carried out to assist with maintaining his independence.
