The MS organizations in Wales offer support, information and social activities where people can meet and make new friends. Many social activities such as outings, quiz nights, lunches, drop in centres are all part of the support as are relaxation therapies and financial assistance. The support offered may differ in each branch with reference to social activities but the welfare and information available is excellent throughout.

However, this is not necessarily so. Able Community Care, a nationwide provider of live-in care schemes, provides long term, live-in care packages to many people with MS enabling them to remain living in their own home and in their community.
